What it can do
What a configured agent can do with the rules.
These are possibilities when a configured AI agent follows the working structure packaged in Query me Starter. The free bootstrap is deliberately minimal, and no assistant-specific workflow should be assumed without an explicit, checked setup. See how it works for the model and its limits.
Where it applies
Four situations where it changes the work.
Freelance and client work
Give each client one note: how they like to be written to, what was agreed on the last call, and what is still open. A checked workflow can use that source rather than a separate chat history. Do not assume any named assistant has access until its permissions and behavior have been verified.
Research and long-running projects
A project that runs for months accumulates decisions, dead ends, and reasons things were ruled out. Query me keeps one current project note instead of scattering that history across dozens of old conversations. Older notes can move aside when they are useful only for explaining a past decision.
Teams and shared work: not yet in scope
A team needs more than one editable shared folder. It needs private working surfaces, explicit promotion of information into shared memory, permission-aware retrieval and an audit trail. Those controls are future work, so shared team memory is not a current product or offer.
Ordinary personal use
Standing preferences, recurring dates, people you correspond with, and the small facts you are tired of repeating. The simple payoff is a source you can revisit and choose to use with tools, rather than a hidden settings screen in every app.
What it is not
Where it does not help.
It is a memory system, not an automation platform.
The free bootstrap and Starter package are ordinary files and instructions. They do not connect themselves to your calendar, inbox, CRM, or other apps, and they do not automate tasks on their own. Any future tool connection must be specifically reviewed for its permissions and behavior.
It also will not make an assistant better at reasoning, writing, or coding. It changes what the assistant knows about your situation before it starts, not how capable the model itself is.
Choose the right present-day starting point.
Start free if you want to make the practice your own; use Query me Starter if you want the working package and AI-guided self-setup. QMDrive and QMForge are still development work.
